A new opportunity for campers to store their RV and vacation at the same time.

What is park and play?

Base Camp is proud to offer a new service in the RV Camping industry called the ‘Park and Play’! This service grants campers looking for a place to store their RV a secure storage space, and the opportunity to enjoy all of Base Camp’s amenities through a limited number of visits monthly.

• the run down •

Campers will pay a monthly fee to store their camper for the entirety of one month at an allotted RV site at Base Camp. Fees are paid monthly. This service is only offered during our Off-Season from November to March Yearly. Guests who book using our Park and Play offer will be allotted six visits per month to visit Base Camp and utilize all of its amenities. This includes spending time at your camper and using the site’s amenities (i.e., fire pit, electric, water). Guests are allowed to stay overnight at their camper during this time, provided the owner of the RV has signed in. Visits must be signed in by the front office. There is no time limit to how long a guest can visit per day, or a restriction on how your 6 visits are utilized.

• Where will my camper be stored? •

Campers will be allotted an off-river site for the month and the full remainder of their Park and Play. The site will be chosen by our staff to ensure safety and by needs of guests and the business. No On-River or Luxury sites will be utilized in the Park and Play offer.

• Will my camper be monitored?•

Base Camp cannot ensure the safety of your camper during office hours, but will apply the same care and attention as a regular guest’s site would receive. Base Camp will maintain your site’s quality and is staffed 7 days a week. Base Camp is not held liable for any natural damage (i.e., deterioration, flat tires, etc.) or theft. Please ensure your camper is locked and all valuables are left inside while you are not in attendance.

• Can I stay longer than six days? •

No, guests are not allotted to stay beyond their six allotted visits. Any guests found exceeding or not checking in with the front office will be charged $90 per night using the card on file. There are no exceptions to this policy. If a guest would like to stay an extra night, they may visit the front office and book a night under the regular off-season rate at their site.

• Is my RV ready for a winter stay? •

Winter can be rough on RVs. Please ensure your RV is winterized and prepared for the cold. When staying, remember to unhook your water so your pipes do not freeze. Base Camp is not held liable for any weather-related damage to guests’ RVs.
